Ronald William Capers, age 88, more recently of Troy, OH and a lifetime resident of Hopedale, OH passed away on May 7, 2025 in Troy.  He was born on January 12, 1937 in Harrison County, OH to the late John and Mary Grace (Marinucci) Capers.

He is survived by his sister: Kay (Warren) Kaebnick of Troy and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings: Alfred Capers, Norman Capers, Eugene Capers, Larry Capers, Gloria Capers Hamilton, Beverly Capers, John Capers Jr., Shirley Capers Gore and Gerald Capers.

He was an active member of Hopedale Church of Christ. Ronald enjoyed walking and he loved sports, especially baseball and his favorite team, the New York Yankees.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, May 19, 2025 in Greenwood Cemetery, Harrison County, OH.
