Ronald Ray ''Baldy'' Baldwin, age 58, of Tipp City, Ohio died Friday, July 9, 2004. He was born of the late, George and Vera Mauk Baldwin. Ron was an avid softball player, playing on various teams in Miami County over the past 36 years. Ron was a 1963 graduate of Miami East High School, he enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting and gardening. He was owner and operator of Baldwin Machine Shop in Troy, Ohio since 1994. Survivors include his special friend and companion, Donetta Potts; two daughters, Tammy Baldwin Sowers of Troy and Susan Baldwin of Houston, Ohio; stepson, Craig Miller of Tipp City; one sister, Marilyn Hanley of Kettering, Ohio; one brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Donna Baldwin of Casstown and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Keith. Memorial contributions may be made to the Miami East Junior Diamond Sports.
