ROGER ARLEN REED

ROGER ARLEN REED, age 59, of Troy passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton.  He was born on May 19, 1956 in Okinawa to Arlen L. and Clara M. (Knecht) Reed of Troy, OH.  His wife of over 34 years, Tammy L. (Deitsch) Reed, survives.

Roger is also survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Christopher A. and Ashley M. Reed of Chicago, IL; one sister and brother-in-law: Pam and Mike Bennett of Raleigh, NC; and one brother and sister-in-law: David and Jeannine Reed of Troy, OH.   He was preceded in death by one sister: Carol Reed Chaney.

Roger was a 1974 graduate of Troy High School and attended Bowling Green University.  He was a member of the Troy Church of the Brethren.  Roger was also a member of Miami Shores Golf Course and Troy Elks Lodge.  He was Vice-President of Sales with Specialty Printing in East Windsor, CT.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy with Pastor Jon Keller officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  Friends may call from 5-8 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
