Roger Dale Malone, 56, of Piqua, Ohio died on Thursday, August 4, 2005 at his residence. He was born on December 8, 1948 in Beckley, W.Va. to the late Ray and Elizabeth Wallen Malone. He is survived by his wife, Connie Overcash Malone and his seven children, Jennifer Snyder of Piqua, OH; Tiffany Alspaugh of Piqua, OH; Shirley Malone of Elkton, Maryland; Kathy Main of Johnson City, TN; Roger Dale Malone of Johnson City, TN; Aaron Maxon of Troy, OH and Rob Maxon of Piqua, OH. Special nephew, Frank Ball of Piqua, OH and special granddaughter, Chelsea Von Aschen of Piqua, OH, whom he raised. Also surviving are his step-mother, Emily Malone of White Springs, Florida; sister, Delores Bennett of Beckley, W.Va; brothers, Bobby Price of Delaware and John Price of Lake City, Florida; grandchildren; Trinity Alspaugh; Logan Alspaugh; Darian Von Aschen; Brandon Snyder; Caleb Harvey; Justin Harvey; Nathan Harvey; Julie Malone; Sarah Malone; Chris Malone; Patrick Main; Skippy Main and Anthony Malone. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Burton Malone. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Covington, Ohio. He worked at L & M Painting of Huber Heights, Ohio until time of his illness. He enjoyed fishing and boating and will be deeply missed. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2005 @ 2:00pm at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio, with Pastor Cliff Christman. Friends may call on the family on Monday, August 8, 2005 from 6-8PM at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio.
