Roger Lamar Frantz, passed away January 18, 2002 in Cincinnati. Beloved husband of Mildred Frantz, loving father of Richard Frantz of West Chester, Ohio and Diane Dudeck John of San Francisco, California, devoted grandfather of Jennifer Dickerson and Eric Frantz of West Chester and Jonathan Dudeck of San Francisco. Also survived by sisters, Mildred Shaffer of Springfield and Joan Thackery of St. Paris. He was a graduate of The Ohio State University, a captain in the U.S. Air Force during WWII and a member of the Troy First and Sycamore Presbyterian Churches. He was a 40 year employee of Hobart Brothers Company in Troy where he served as Vice President and General Manager of Power Systems Division. He served on the Boards of trustees of Stouder Memorial Hospital and Waco Historical Society Inc. Service will be held 11:00am Monday, January 21, 2002 at the Baird Funeral Home, 555 North Market Street, Troy, Ohio with Rev. Richard Culp officiating. Interment in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00am-11:00am.
