Robert D. Wolfe, age 56 of Troy, Ohio died Friday, August 3, 2007 in Piqua, Ohio. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Cathy Bigos Wolfe, father and step-mother, Desmond L. and Jean Wolfe of Troy, Ohio; sister, Linda Wolfe of Troy, Ohio; sister and brother-in-law, Mona and Michael Mullendore of Elk Grove, California; brother, Timothy J. Wolfe of Delaware, Ohio, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Judy and Larry Lee of Tipp City, Ohio; Janice and Tom Royse of Tipp City and Anthony and Debbie Bigos of Troy, Ohio. Also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Chester and Joan Bigos of Tipp City, Ohio; step-sister and brother-in-law, Cheree and Tim Daffner of Pickerington, Ohio; other relatives, Janice Norman Swanson of San Diego, California; Patsy Roney of Dedham, Massachusetts; uncle, Walter Lyon of Findlay, Ohio and one niece, several nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol J. Roney Wolfe in 1989; aunts, Lucille Wolfe Lyon and Virginia Wolfe Hunt; uncles, David and Robert Roney and his grandparents. Robert was formerly employed by Hobart Corporation, Troy, Ohio; A.O. Smith of Tipp City, Ohio and currently employed as a consultant for Lear Corporation, Sidney, Ohio. He was a graduate of Troy High School class of '69 and received his Journeyman Card through Hobart Corporation. Member of the Troy Fish and Game Club, he was an avid animal lover, he loved people and had many special gifts. Services will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at 1:30PM in the Riverside Cemetery Chapel, Troy, Ohio. Friends may call Tuesday 4-7PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio.
