Robert E. Wehrley, age 94, of Troy, OH passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 at SpringMeade Health Center, Tipp City, OH.  Bob was born on October 10, 1923 in Darke County, OH to the late Raymond and Ethel (Shoemaker) Wehrley.

Bob is survived by his wife: Peggy (Rife) Wagner Wehrley; daughters-in-law: Penny Wehrley of Troy; Kathy Mahoney of Dayton;stepchildren: Terri Grissom; Jeffery Wagner; Beth (Steve) Lamka and Nina (Jeffrey)Price all of Troy; three grandchildren; ten stepgrandchildren; five great grandchildren and twenty step great grandchildren and his nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his first wife:  Leola Arlene (Shanks) Wehrley; two sons:  Gary and Thomas Wehrley; four sisters: Olive Besecker; Pauline Grove; Ruth Curtner and Treva Morris; four brothers: Lloyd, Denver, Eldon and Carl Wehrley and two nephews: Ned Besecker and Larry Grove.

Bob served his country during WWII in the US Army.  Bob was a member of the Troy Church of the Brethren.  He was a life member of the American Legion Post #43; Fraternal Order of the Eagles No. 971 and VFW Post # 5436.  Bob retired from Hobart Corporation/PMI after 40 years of service in 1986.

The Funeral Service will be held at 10:30AM on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Troy Church of the Brethren with Rev. Jon Keller officiating.  Interment will follow in Miami Memorial Park, Covington with services by the Veteran's Memorial Honor Guard of Troy.  The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00PM on Wednesday at the Baird Funeral Home with Eagles Services.
