Robert D. Skaggs, 45, of Casstown, Ohio died on Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio. He was born on January 1, 1961 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Russell L. Skaggs and Lou Verna Duncan Skaggs of Troy, Ohio. He married Cynthia L. Stanfill his wife for 21 years, and she survives. Also surviving are their three children, Christopher L. Skaggs; age 20 Russell R. Skaggs age 15 and Heather M. Skaggs age 12, all of Casstown, Ohio; sisters and brother-in-law; Brenda Pittenger and Philip Whitaker of Piqua, OH; Phyllis & Dave Matheny of Casstown, OH; brothers and sister-in-law; Russell & Dorothy Skaggs of Greenville, OH and Dennis L. Skaggs of Troy, OH and nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell L. Skaggs and a son, Brian Robert Skaggs in 1989. He was a member of the Ohio Horsemen Club, Montgomery Chapter. He attended Miami East Schools. He was employed with Faurecia Exhaust Systems in Troy, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2006 @ 2:00pm at the Free Baptist Church, Christiansburg, Ohio with the Rev. J.B. Powers officiating. Burial will be in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio. Friends may call on the family, Friday, April 7, 2006 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio.
