Robert L. Rogers, 82, of Marion and Clearwater, FL, died Thursday, September 18, 2008 at the Forestview Nursing Home in Wareham. He was the husband of Ann Morse Rogers. Born in Dayton, OH, the son of the late Harry L. & Artie Lippincott Rogers, Mr. Rogers enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps at the age of 17 and served during World War II. Mr. Rogers was employed as a commercial photographer for Hobart Manufacturing, Inc. He was a member of the Church of the Beatitudes in St. Petersburg, FL. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Mark Rogers, daughter in-law, Cyn Dee, two grandchildren, Ethan and Cynna Demi, all of Gilbert, AZ, and three nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his son, William Rogers and his sisters, Betty Wolf and Phyllis Gray. A funeral service will be held on Wed., Sept. 24th at the chapel of the Riverside Cemetery, Troy, OH at 2:00 PM. Relatives and friends may visit from 1 to 2 PM prior to the service.
