Robert "Bob" Edmond Knife, age 85, of Troy, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at StoryPoint of Troy.  He was born on October 17, 1937, in Troy, to the late Dale Knife and Ella (Anderson) Kerns.

Bob is survived by his wife of 64 years: Barbara (Hess) Knife; two children: Robert Edmond Knife, Jr., of Troy, and Teresa Ann (John) Simmons of CO; one grandchildren: Robert Edmond Knife III; and four great grandchildren: McKayla, Titus, Sophia and Gavin.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather: Carrol Kerns; brother: Dale Eugene Knife; and granddaughter: Jennifer Lynn Belcher.

Bob was a member of First United Church of Christ in Troy.  He was a 1956 graduate of Troy High School.  Bob retired from TWA Airlines after 38 years.  He was a ticket agent for the airlines.  Bob loved playing golf.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 30, 2023, at Miami Memorial Park in Covington with Pastor Lauren Allen officiating.
