Robert L. Kimmel, 78, of Troy, Ohio passed out of this life on Thursday, March 10, 2005 at the Koester Pavilion, Troy, Ohio. He was born on January 7, 1927 in Piqua, Ohio to the late John Daniel and Alice Stephenson Kimmel Sr. He is survived by Harry B. Honeycutt, longtime friend; brothers John Daniel Kimmel Jr., of Texas; Thomas Daniel Kimmel Jr., Thomas Allen Kimmel and Kenneth N. Kimmel all of Covington, Ohio; sisters, Joan Guido of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; Rita Walters of Greenville; Kathy Baker and Jean Kimmel of Covington, Ohio. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during WW II; was of the Methodist faith; and a member of the Franklin Lodge F&AM #14, Troy, Ohio. He attended Miami Jacob's College. He sold Real Estate for Garden Gate Realty and was a Para Legal with Miller-Schlemmer-Luring Law Office. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with the Rev. Dr. James Wilson officiating. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio.
