Robert Edward Jonathan Borgerding, 48, of Troy, Ohio died on Saturday, May 7, 2005 at his residence. He was born on June 18, 1956 in Allentown, PA to Jonathan ''Jack'' and Margaret ''Peggy'' Ginley Borgerding. Along with his surviving parents are his siblings, brothers and sisters-in-law; Dennis & Olivia Borgerding of Virginia Beach; Kenneth of S. Pasadena, California; Patrick & Lisa Borgerding of Troy, OH and Richard & Laurie of Piqua, OH; sisters and brothers-in-law; Janice & Keith Berger of Versailles, OH and Michelle and Warren Ullom of Euharlee, Georgia; and twelve nieces and nephews. He was a US Army Veteran; member of the VFW Post #5436; American Legion #43; Moose Lodge #2611 and a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, OH. He was a 1974 graduate of Troy High School. He was a retired Lt. Commander of US Navy after 24 years of service. Services will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2005 at 11:00AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy with Rev. Fr. James Duell officiating with burial in Dayton National Cemetery. Friends may call on the family Wednesday, May 11, 2005 from 5-8PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy.
