Robert M. Jacob, age 43, of Troy, OH died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2008 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, OH, short of receiving a lung transplant after a lengthy illness. He was born Dec. 30, 1964 in Dayton to the late Peter M. Jacob and Sandra Valentine Jacob. He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Dan and Stephenie Moneymaker of Eaton, OH; Justin Stewart of Troy; and Josh Stewart of Troy; brothers and sisters, Michael Jacob of St. Marys, OH; Douglas Jacob of Sidney, Ohio; Julia Darrell Cloud of Sidney, Ohio; Susan Keith Fischer of Hernando, Mississippi; and Kathleen Heighton of Anna, Ohio; and grandchildren, Noah and Ryley. He attended St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy. He formerly worked with Plate Right in Dayton. He was an avid Harley rider. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 am Monday, Dec. 29, 2008 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy with the Rev. Fr. James Duell officiating. Interment to be held in Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua, Ohio. Friends may call at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy from 2-5 pm Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008.
