Robert F. Houser Robert F. Houser, age 73 of Troy, Ohio, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2013 at his residence in the loving care of his three girls. He was born on January 15, 1940 in Piqua, Ohio to the late Robert E. and Doris Schlosser Houser. His wife, Judith A. "Judy" Ritter Houser, preceded him in death on March 9, 1995. He is survived by three daughters: Sandra Bill Rouse of Destin, Florida, Julie Tom Hufford of Troy, Ohio, and Christina Bruner Fiance Roger Schaeffer of Troy, Ohio; Brother Larry Joe Houser of Fort Myers, Florida, Sisters Helen Kay Shaffer of Piqua, Ohio and Kathy Miller of Gulfport, Mississippi; nine grandchildren; Lindsay, Ashley, Chris, Trenton, Shannon, Ashley, Tyler, Matthew and Taylor; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and his second wife Carolyn. Robert Houser was a member of the Franklin Lodge #14 F&AM Amvets Post 88; VFW Post 5436; American Legion Post 43; Troy Fish and Game; and Troy Eagles Eerie 971. He was a retired machinist/CNC Operator from Trojan Manufacturing. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Interment will follow in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, Ohio. Friends may call from 2:00– 4:00 and from 6:00-8:00 on Wednesday, February 6 with Masonic services at 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
