ROBERT LYNN HOLLSTED, age 92, of Troy, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018, at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit in Troy.  He was born on July 23, 1926 in Gagen, WI to the late Grant and Myrtle (Johnston) Hollsted.  His wife, Delores (Zimmerman) Hollsted, preceded him in death on May 18, 2001.

Robert is survived by two children: Janet (Bill) Tannis of Okauchee, WI and Alisa (John) Alvarez of Tipp City; two sisters: Bernice Paulson of Green Bay, WI and Gracie Cox of Angwin, CA; and five grandchildren: Joseph, Jacob, Steve, Tim and David.  In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three sisters: Francis Hollsted, Sally Zwemer and Helen Hill.

Robert was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  He was a foundry worker at International Harvester.  Robert proudly served his country as a member of the US Army during WW II.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.  Friends may call from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Wisconsin.
