ROBERT LEE HOLLOPETER, JR.

ROBERT LEE HOLLOPETER, JR., age 67 of Troy passed away on Monday, May 19, 2014 at the home of his daughter.  He was born on March 22, 1947 in Union City, IN to Mary E. (White) Hollopeter, Holland, MI and the late Robert L. Hollopeter, Sr.  On July 31, 1965, he married Robbie Geesaman.  She survives.

Robert is also survived by two daughters and son-in-law: Vickie and David Brown of Ludlow Falls, OH and Robin Storer of Troy, OH; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Ronald and Janet Hollopeter of Greenville, OH and David and Jeanie Hollopeter of Union City, IN; three sisters and brother-in-law: Linda and Jim Vandenburg of Holland, MI, Gloria Stump of Greenville, OH and Bonnie Studer of Holland, MI; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his father and one sister: Valerie.

Robert attended Mississinawa Valley School System.  He was a former member of the Troy View Church of God.  Robert loved hunting and fishing.  He volunteered with campground security at Heritage Hills in Liberty, IN.  Robert was employed with A. O. Smith Corporation for 33 years.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, OH.  Friends may call from 5-8 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
