Robert E. Helmer, Jr. is survived by two daughers and sons-in-law:  Becky and Jim Howard; Tracy and Keith Trost; one brother, Richard Helmer and two grandchildren, Nick and Thomas Howard.  He was preceded in death by his parents Robert E. and Marjorie Steinele Helmer, Sr.

Mr. Helmer was former partner and operator in the family business, St. Mary's Tool and Die, Troy, Ohio.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.  Contributions are requested to the Diabetes Association.
