ROBERT S. HART

Robert S. Hart, age 93, of Troy, OH passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at the Koester Pavilion, Troy.  He was born on October 17, 1921 in Bradford, OH to the late Paul R. and Orpha M. (Frey) Hart.  He married Irene Faye Peterseim in 1944 and she preceded him in death on November 10, 2010.

Robert is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law:  Richard and Vickie Hart of Ft. Worth, TX and Ronald and Debbie Hart of Troy; six granddaughters; one grandson; twelve great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren and four nieces.

In addition to his parents and spouse, Robert was preceded in death by one son, Roger Hart; one grandson, Christopher Hart; and two brothers, Howard and George Hart.

Robert was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Troy and a member for over 60 years with the Franklin Lodge #14 F&AM, Troy.  He was a US Navy veteran having served from 1939-1945.  Robert was retired from Hobart Corporation in Troy.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the First Lutheran Church, Troy with the Rev. Ric Barnes officiating.  Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy at 1:00 PM with military honors to be held by the Veterans Memorial Honor Guard.  Memorial contributions may be made to the First Lutheran Church, 2899 West Main Street, Troy, OH 45373.  Friends may express condolences to the family through www.bairdfuneralhome.com .
