Robert E. Coate, age 93, of Troy died Sunday, May 6, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Mary P. Elleman; son and daughter-in-law, Gary L. and Patricia Coate; sister, Ruby Coate; two grandchildren, Todd A. and Kelly L. Coate; great-grandchildren, Killian and Ridley Coate. Member of the First United Church of Christ, Troy; Franklin Lodge #14 F&AM Troy Fish and Game Club and Troy Senior Citizens. Graduate of Monroe High School and retired from Hobart Corporation after 38 years of service.
