Robert Dale Bridges, 67, died unexpectedly on Monday, December 23, 2002 at his residence. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Rheta Campbell Bridges; three children and their husbands, Vickey Lynn Adkins Randy; Patricia Ann Murray Ken;and Barbara Jo Welch Steve; brothers and sisters: Marjorie Lawson, Norma Kunze, Carol, Eleanor Fiscus, Paul Bridges, Jimmy Bridges, Phil Bridges, Keith Bridges, Kenny Bridges and five grandchildren: Leslie Marie Murray, Holly Rae Murray, Ashley Patricia Adkins, Heather Lynn Welch and Tyler Robert Welch. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Ralph and Bertha Cruea Bridges, three brothers and one sister. Mr. Bridges was a member of the First Baptist Church, Vandalia, Ohio. He was a self-employed carpenter; worked at Braun Brothers Packing Company for 17 years. Visitation will be from 12:00 -2:00PM Friday, December 27 with a service at 2:00 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH with Rev. Charles Betis officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemtery - Troy, Ohio.
