Robert "Joe" Blumenstock Robert "Joe" Blumenstock, age 73, of Troy, Ohio, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio. He was born July 4, 1934, in Greenville, Ohio, to the late Walter and Caroline Rieman Blumenstock. His wife of 41 years, Linda Mae Wright Blumenstock, survives. In addition to his wife, Linda, Mr. Blumenstock is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law: David and Cindy Blumenstock of Kettering, Ohio and Daniel Blumenstock of Troy; one brother, Ronald Blumenstock of Arcanum, Ohio; and three grandchildren: Andrew, Bethany and Aaron. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Vivian Blumenstock; and one brother, William Blumenstock. He was a 1952 graduate of Greenville High School and received his Associates Degree in Business from the University of Dayton. Mr. Blumenstock was a member of the Living Word Church in Vandalia. He started a Neighborhood Bible Club teaching Bible stories and games to neighborhood children for over seven years. He was also a US Army Veteran. He retired as Production Planner with Mead in Dayton, OH after 35 years of service. He worked at the Pharm and Kroger for 15 years after his retirement. Services will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at the Living Word Church, Vandalia, Ohio, E. National Road, with Dr. Pat Murray officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City, Ohio, with Military honors at the graveside. Friends may call from 5-8PM Tuesday at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio.
