Robert W. Benham, age 85 of Troy died Friday, April 12, 2002 in Troy. Born of the late,Frank and Mary Young Benham, he was preceded in death by two brothers, F. Arthur and John. He is survived by his wife, Edna Estey; son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Jill Benham; daughter, Joyce Thomas; brothers, Roy and Lloyd and sister, Cassa Johnson; five grandchildren, Jennifer Bowman, Heather Gilliland, Angie Benham, Rebecca Benham and R.J. Benham and two great-grandchildren, Alyssa Bowman and Lucas Gilliland. A member of the Cove Spring Church; Mt. Olivet F&AM #226 Masonic Lodge of Christiansburg; 70-year member of the Cove Springs Grange and a graduate of Elizabeth Township High School. He was a self-employed farmer.
