Robert M. Bell, 71, formerly of Troy, Ohio died on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at the Piqua Manor, Piqua, Ohio after 3 years of suffering with Alzheimer's. He was born on May 14, 1934 in Troy, Ohio to the late Martin L. and Cora I. Robinson Bell. He married Mary E. Gorrell and she precedes him in death in 1997. Also surviving are six children, daughters & sons-in-law; Cynthia & Kevin Bell of Bellefontaine, OH; Kimberly & James McDowell of Troy, OH; Lisa Bell of Piqua, OH; Julie & Shon Taylor of Bellefontaine, OH; sons & daughter-in-law; Robert Bell Jr. of Tipp City, OH; Michael & Sherry Bell of New Carlisle, OH; sister, Louise Hess of Troy, OH; brother & sister-in-law; George & Ruby Mikels of Troy, OH; sixteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents; wife; sister, Emma Smith; brothers, James; Ralph; Roy and John Mikels. He was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses for 54 years. He retired in 1997 from Hobart Brothers in Filler Metals Research & Development after 23 years of service. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 24, 2006 at 10:30am at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with Brother Rusty Henderson officiating. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio. Friends may call on the family, Sunday, April 23, 2006 from 4-7PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio.
