Rita M. Raymond Rita M. Raymond, age 83, of Troy, Ohio passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2010 at the Troy Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on May 31, 1927 to the late Robert and Glenna Brawner. She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd S. Raymond, a daughter Denise A. Stuchell, a son Mark S. Raymond, special granddaughter Michele Raymond and a sister Joyce Pierce. Rita is survived by her sisters Nancy Moore and Carol Snyder both of Vandalia, Ohio; daughter Julie M. Sharits of Troy, Ohio and four sons Keith A. Raymond of Cincinnati, Ohio, Loren R. Raymond of Tipp City, Ohio, Michael J. Raymond of Eaton, Ohio and Ronald J. Raymond of Troy, Ohio; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. Rita had faith in a loving and forgiving God. She enjoyed crafts, was a fine cook, and she was an excellent bridge player in which she enjoyed playing at the Troy Senior Citizens. She had many friends at the VFW and Redmen's Club in Troy. She was an intelligent, well read and mostly self educated person. After raising her family of seven children she passed her GED, entered the Licensed Practical Nursing Program at Patterson Co-op and graduated at the top of her class in 1967. She practiced her profession for many years. Her love for her family and friends will always be remembered. The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Troy Care and Rehabilitation Center and to Hospice of Miami County for their exceptional care of their mother. A memorial service is being arranged by the Baird Funeral Home, 555 N. Market Street, Troy, Ohio and will be held at the funeral home on September 18, 2010 at 2:30PM. The service will be followed by a family gathering at the Redmen's Lodge, 103 ½ East Main Street, Third Floor, Troy, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of Miami County, P.O.
