RITA J. TRIBBY

RITA J. TRIBBY, age 79, of Union, OH passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Brookville Nursing and Rehabilitation, Brookville, OH.  She was born in Tipp City, OH on September 19, 1934 to the late Ernest L. and Ruth (Diehl) McAdams.  She was the beloved wife of Charles Tribby and he cherished her as the love of his life.  He survives.

Rita is also survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: David and Kim Studebaker, Phillipsburg, OH and Daniel and Dianne Studebaker, Zionsville, IN; one daughter: Diane Gillespie, Maineville, OH; four step children and their spouses: Linda and Lon Bowen, Columbus, OH, David and Laura Tribby, Grafton, OH, Randy and Alicia Tribby, Somerset, OH and Lisa and David Petrie, Wellston, OH; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother: Richard McAdams.

Rita taught piano for many years and was the choir director and organist at West Milton Church of the Brethren.  In her later years, she was organist at Good Shepherd Church of the Brethren, Vandalia, OH, where she was a member.  Rita was well loved by her children and grandchildren.  She had a heart of gold and her compassionate nature was her greatest asset.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 Noon on Monday, April 21, 2014 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH with Pastor Daniel Fuller officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Garden, Tipp City, OH.  Friends may call from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon on Monday at the funeral home.
