Richard E. "Rick" Young, age 57, of Fletcher, OH died Friday, July 31, 2009 at the James Cancer Institute, Columbus, OH. He was born July 26, 1952 in Dayton, OH to the late Louis E. Young and Velda Jean St. John Young. He is survived by his wife, Pamela E. Wolfe Young; stepchildren, Hillary Drake of Sidney, OH and Bryon Drake of Indiana; brother, Louis A. Joan Young of Beavercreek, OH; sisters, Karen J. Granville Ellenburg of Riverside, OH; and Diane O. Andrew Durant of Alexandria, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by his brother, Darrin W. Young; uncle, Rollis St. John; aunts, Miriam Longendelpher and Vivian St. John. He was a truck driver with Thyseen Krupp, formerly Copper and Brass Sales. Services will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at the Baird Funeral Home Troy, OH with the Pastor Dale Christian officiating. Interment will be held in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, OH.
