Richard M. 'Pete' Murphy, age 55, of Troy, Ohio died Monday, July 12, 2010 at his residence. He was born October 24, 1954 in Troy to Richard A. Murphy and Frederika Sendner Murphy. Pete is survived by his father and stepmother, Richard A. and Barbara Murphy of Celina, Ohio; son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Molly Murphy of Flowery Branch, Georgia; daughter , Jessica Murphy and fiance', Nathan Low of Troy, Ohio; grandchildren, Caleb, Colton, Jason, and Eric; sister, Nancy Peck of Troy, Ohio; nephew, Clint Emmel and niece, Jennifer Sturgeon. Pete was a 1972 graduate of Troy High School. He was an employee of Dolco Packaging in Troy aka: Keyes Fibre. He was a longtime member of the Troy Fish and Game; Troy Redmens Lodge and Fraternal Order of the Eagles. Family will receive friends from 4-7PM Monday at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio.
