Richard "Jerry" Kerg, age 84, of Tipp City, OH went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 14, 2022.  He was born on February 27, 1938 in Tipp City, OH to the late Henry and Erma (Thompson) Kerg.

He is survived by his sister: Judy (Ralph) Mote of Troy and niece: Dana (Todd) Brown of Tipp City.

Jerry was a 1956 graduate of Tippecanoe High School where he was an athlete in football, basketball and track.  He went on to serve his country in the US Air Force.  He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and VFW both in Tipp City.  He was retired from General Motors Company after 34 years of service.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM on October 3, 2022 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy.  A private interment will take place in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City with military honors.
