Richard P. Elliott, 80, of Troy, Ohio left us to go to his next assignment on Thursday, June 10, 2004. He leaves behind his son, Michael Connie Elliott of Dayton; his daughter, Mary Tom Hawkins of Troy and his son, Philip Julie Elliott and grandson, Aaron of San Antonio, Texas. His parents and his beautiful loving wife, JoRita, preceded him in passing. A World War II veteran of Patton's Third Army, he also earned a BS Degree in Marketing from Notre Dame. His most recent work before retirement was 24 years as a sales training manager from Hobart Corporation. He asked that his friends drink a toast to his memory. A memorial mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 409 E. Main Street, Troy on Wed., June 16, 2004 at 10:00am. Interment in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. A luncheon will be served at St. Patrick's following interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Troy Senior Citizens Center General Memorial Fund, 134 North Market Street, Troy, Ohio 45373.
