Richard W. "Dick" Foust, age 87, of Troy, Ohio and formerly of Sandusky, Ohio passed away on July 4, 2022 at the Dayton VA Medical Center.  He was born on February 24, 1935 in New York City, New York.

He is survived by his life partner of 30 years: Jane Athey; three children: Brian Foust; Susie Brunner and Sherry Nesbit; ten grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife: Marilyn Jane Foust; daughter: Jana Foust; his maternal grandparents who raised him and two sisters.

Dick was a 1953 graduate of Milton Senior High School in Milton, Pennsylvania.  He then enlisted in the US Marine Corp and served for three years.  Dick retired from Ruth Packing Company in Sandusky, Ohio.  He was a member of the VFW, Fraternal Order of Eagles and the American Legion and enjoyed many years of golf.

No public services will be held.  Memorial contributions may be made in Dick's memory to the Dayton VA Medical Center, 4100 W. Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45428.
