Richard F. Cornick Sr. Richard F. "Dick" Cornick Sr., age 75, of Troy, Ohio died Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Upper Valley Medical Center Troy, Ohio. He was born on November 11, 1934 in Glen Ellyn Illinois to the late Leslie F. Sr. and Norma Foit Cornick. He is survived by one son, Richard F. Cornick Jr. of Greenville, Ohio; three daughters, Robin and her husband, Thom Ingle of Pleasant Hill, Ohio, Rachelle Cornick of Fernandina Beach, FL and Rajean Cornick of Troy; two brothers, James Cornick of Georgia and Donald Cornick of Florida one sister, Delores Johnston of Xenia, Ohio; five grandchildren, Adam Ingle, Meredith and Ryan Fiely, Akacia and Dave Davis, Chelsea Harris, Griffen and Morgan Harris; and six great-grandchildren, Owen, Skylar, Emory, Cailyn, Rylan, and Brynnasen. In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death by his brother, Leslie F. Cornick Jr. Dick graduated from Wilbur Wright High School in Dayton. He was a US Army Veteran having served from 1957-1959. He worked as a mechanic for TWA for 30 years before retiring and he was a blacksmith farrier in Miami County for 25 years. A memorial service will be held at 7:00PM Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Family will receive friends from 4-7PM Thursday at the funeral home.
