Richard E. Bubeck, 58, of 628 South Sunset Dr. Piqua was suddenly taken from his friends and loved ones on Thursday, January 11, 2007. He was born in Piqua on January 15, 1948 to the late Lowell E. and Lillian Glass Bubeck. He married Connie M. Entingh on June 22, 1974 in Piqua and she survives. Other survivors include two sons, Ryan E. Bubeck of Troy, Eric L. Bubeck of St. Paris, a daughter, April M. Bubeck of Russia, a granddaughter, Brianna Hatfield, seven brothers, Jim Bubeck of Troy, Eddie Bubeck of Bradford, Carl Bubeck and Paul Bubeck both of Piqua, Kenny Bubeck of Cincinnati, Mike Bubeck of Indiana, and Lowell Bubeck Jr. of Sidney along with three furry special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Margaret "Peg Bubeck" Chaney. Mr. Bubeck attended the Madison Avenue Church of God in Piqua and was a 1966 graduate of Piqua Central High School. He was employed for twenty two years at ITW Hobart Corp. and was a car enthusiast. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at 10:00 am at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with the Rev. Michael Milthaler officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, January 15, 2007 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the family through Baird Funeral Home.
