Richard A. Bowman, 70, passed out of this life on Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at the Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, Ohio. He was born on October 30, 1933 in Troy, Ohio to the late Harry W. and Juanita L. Clawson Bowman. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Ruth M. Bard; seven children, Michael Bowman of Menlo Park, CA; Douglas Bowman of Medway, OH; Sandra Mooney of Bennington, NH; Tamara Sharpe of Union, OH; Linda Christman of Flower Mound, TX; Rhonda Hereford of Tipp City, OH; and Jana Willis of Gahanna, OH. Mr. Bowman is survived by two sisters, Charlene Hartzell of Toma, WI and Marilyn Henry of Greenfield, Ohio. He has 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Steven H. Bowman; and sister, Judith K. Francis. He was a US Army Veteran.
