RHONDA L. (BROWN) STEWART

RHONDA L. (BROWN) STEWART, age 53, of Troy passed away on May 26, 2014 at Upper Valley Medical Center of Troy after a lengthy battle with cancer.  She was born on September 18, 1960 in Dayton to Herbert E. (Cynthia) Brown of Sidney and Jewell (Wells) Fitch of Ridge Manor, FL.  Rhonda's husband of 19 years, Martin R. Stewart, survives.

In addition to her husband and parents, Rhonda is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Monica (Slyder) and Bret Meyer and Laura N. (Bailey) and Brent Maddy all of Troy; two sisters and brother-in-law: Rebecca A. (Brown) and Andy Hecker and Sherry D. (Brown) Benson all of Ridge Manor, FL; one brother and sister-in-law: Herbert A. and Sandy Brown of Dayton; two grandchildren: Levi G. B. Rhoades of Troy and Jasmyn Rhoades of Ft. Loramie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rhonda attended E. J. Brown Elementary School and Colonel White High School.  She received her degree in nursing from Sinclair Community College in Dayton.  She was a registered nurse at Upper Valley Medical Center, Tipp City After Hours office, and a traveling nurse with a local agency.  Rhonda attended Union Baptist Church in Troy.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy with Pastor Dale Adkins officiating.  Burial will follow in Casstown Cemetery in Casstown.  Friends may call from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
