Rebecca Joan Holmes, 66, cherished wife, mother and friend, has passed from this world June 21, 2018.  She leaves behind her family and many friends all whose lives she enriched.  Gentle and loving she was sustained by her strong and lasting faith.  She loved God with all her heart, and loved others more than herself.  Although she is undoubtedly in a better place those of us left behind mourn her loss.

She leaves her husband of 40 years Peter Holmes, her son Benjamin Holmes, daughter-in-law Brittany Holmes, mother Ruthanna Tatom, and brother John Tatom.  Becky taught primary grades in Piqua for 30 years with a special ability to find and remedy problems.  A devoted member of Ginghamsburg Church, and a serious YMCA exerciser she loved her family, cooking, camping, and hiking.  Her loyalty to individuals and groups was unique.

A memorial service for Rebecca will be held on Saturday, June 30th, at Ginghamsburg New Path, 7695 S. Co. Rd. 25A, Tipp City, 45371. Services will begin at 1:00 PM.
