Raymond M. Volp, 74, of Troy, Ohio died on Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at the Sunrise Assistant Living in Dayton. He was born on March 10, 1931 in Stockbridge, Wisconsin to the late Richard and Franzen Louise Volp. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Mary E. Turoff Volp; two children, Steven M. Volp of New Berlin, Wisconsin and Sister Maria Vickie Volp of Iron Mountain, Michigan; brothers, Jerry Volp of Weslaco, Texas; Robert Deloris Volp of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin; sisters, Marie Perkins of Darien, Wisconsin; Gertrude Herman Muchnick of Van Nuys, California; Jean Brinfield of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Barbara Hoppe of Elkhorn, Wisconsin; half sisters, Beatrice Sontag of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin; Bernice Marvin Nussbaum of Omro, Wisconsin; half brother, Richard Audrey Volp of Stockbridge, Wisconsin; and two grandchildren, Brian and Eric Volp, both of New Berlin, Wisconsin. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn Schurman Volp in 1980; parents; and a brother, Norman Volp. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy; former Member of Piqua Country Club and former member of Piqua Lions Club; Veteran of the US Army Signal Corp., serving as Lieutenant. He graduated from Lake Geneva High School, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin; graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin. He served a Corporate Vice-President for Medalist Industries and in the Ohio area was division President for Medalist's former Allen-A Company in Piqua, Ohio. He served as Vice-President and General Manager of Creative Extruded Products in Tipp City, Ohio, and retired in 1992. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 14, 2005 @ 1:00PM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, Ohio with Rev. Fr. Jim Duell officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Friends may call on the family, Sunday, November 13, 2005 from 4-7PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. There will be a Rosary Service will be held at 6:30PM Sunday at the funeral home.
