Raymond M. Voisard 80, of Troy, OH died Friday, June 22, 2007 at the Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy. He was born September 29, 1926 in Russia, OH to the late Leo and Mary Marshall Voisard. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Ziegler Voisard. He is survived by sons: James Voisard of San Diego, CA and Dennis Voisard of Idaho Springs, CO; Four sisters: Yvonne, Mary Lou, and Carmencita Voisard, who are all Precious Blood Nuns based in Dayton, OH, and Alfrieda Borchers of Russia, OH. Four grandchildren: Angela and Anthony Voisard and Leslee and Leo Voisard. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy; Knights of Columbus; Fraternal Order of Eagles; A Merchant Marine during WWII; Past President of the Civic Association in Russia when its Community Center was built. Mr. Voisard was a machinist and a carpenter. He operated the family business, the former McKaig Market and Diana's Pizza in Troy. Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday June 26, 2007 @ 11:00AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Troy with the Rev. Fr. James Duell officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Troy. Friends may call on the family Monday June 25, 2007 from 5 to 8 PM at the Funeral Home. A special prayer service will be at 7:45PM Monday at the conclusion of visitation.
