Raymond E. Kerr, age 72, of Troy, Ohio died Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at his residence. He was born January 19, 1936 in Urbana, OH to the late Bert Kerr and Mary E. Brown Kerr. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty A. Collins Kerr; daughters and son-in-law, Kathleen K. Lukens of Tipp City and Sandra L. and Christopher Reynolds of Troy; grandchildren, Jamie Swafford of Troy, Jennifer Lukens of Fairborn, Amy Lukens of Oxford, OH, Celena Reynolds of Troy, and B.J. Reynolds of Troy; great-grandchild, Gabrielle Swafford of Troy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Gladys Swank, Betty Wilcher, and Jane Teem; and son-in-law Edwin Lukens. He was a member of Troy Fish and Game and Troy Fraternal Order of the Eagles. He was an avid golfer at Miami Shores playing in Wednesday's Senior League. He was an employee of Dinner Bell Foods for 35 years then moved to Copeland Corp., retiring in 1999. Services will be held 10:00AM Saturday, July 5, 2008 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with the Chaplain Richard Dunbar officiating. Interment will be held in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, OH.
