Raymond Andrew Keim, age 89, of Casstown, OH died Saturday, April 26, 2008 at the Koester Pavilion, Troy, OH. He was born August 10, 1918 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Andrew F. Keim and Margaretta E. Gross Keim. He married June Z. Aughbaugh Keim on May 14, 1949, his wife of 58 years who survives. He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Mark Connie Keim of Casstown, OH, daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy Wes Whidden of Troy, OH and Carol Larry Walker of Piqua, OH, brother & sister-in-law, Edward Margaret Keim of Archbold, OH, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Raymond Ruth Moyer of Indiana and Raymond Jean Wenrick of Piqua, OH, and seven grandchildren, Zachary, Annie, Jeffrey, Erica, David, Jill and Amanda. In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his brother, Gilbert Keim and sister, Lorraine White. Ray was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Troy, OH, and a WWII US Navy Veteran having served in the US Navy Submarine Division. While in the Navy, Ray played baseball and played on several Minor League Teams after the service. He worked in the Engineering Department as a Draftsman at Hobart Brothers Co., Troy, OH. Services will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at the First Lutheran Church, Troy with the Rev. Ric Barnes officiating. Interment will be held in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, OH. Veterans Memorial Honor Guard Services at Graveside. Friends may call at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy from 5 – 8PM Tuesday.
