Raymond E. Green Raymond E. Green, age 72, of Troy, Ohio, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2012 as a result of a battle with pancreatic cancer. He had been diagnosed in October of 2011 and had undergone treatments for the past three months prior to this difficult battle. He spent his final days with his loved ones. He was born in Lebanon, Indiana on January 26, 1940, son of the late Palmer and Betty Newkirk Green. Ray graduated from Kirklin High School, Class of 1958. He married his wife, Anetha Flood Green on July 3, 1965 and they relocated to Troy, Ohio where they have resided for the last 46 years. He retired from Cargill, Inc. in Sidney, Ohio in March of 2011. He is survived by his loving wife, Anetha; son, Randy Green of Hebron, Kentucky; daughter, Annette Green Bowen; son-in-law, Ryan Bowen of Fort Wayne, Indiana; three granddaughters who were the joys of his life, Alyssa Green, Rachel Green and Makenzie Bowen; and one sister, Carol Green Coy of Kirklin, Indiana. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Marsha Green Anderson. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM to 7:30PM on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. There will be a private family memorial service on Friday, February 24, 2012. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266-visit www.pancan.org to print donation form.
