Raymond Dale Browning, age 76, of Troy, Ohio, passed away after an extended illness on Thursday, October 28, 2021.

Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 54 years: Jean Acord Browning; his daughter: Christina (Darrin) Dunaway of Troy; his son: Rodney (Brenda) Browning of Troy; his grandchildren: Devvin Dunaway, Ian Dunaway, Carrigan Browning and Chamberlain Browning; his brother: Bud Browning; and his sister: Barb French.  Ray was preceded in death by his mother and father: Rosie and Cecil Browning; his sisters: Betty Thompson, Maxine Marcum, Carol Schilling and Dallie Rose; and brothers: Herman and Walter Browning.

Ray proudly serviced his country as a member of the US Army Battalion Big Red One, earning 5 Purple Hearts while serving in Vietnam.  He was a born again Christian and attended the Troy Church of the Nazarene.  Ray retired after 30 years of service with B. F. Goodrich.  He loved The Ohio State Buckeyes and being a snowbird in Florida.  Ray impacted many peoples lives with his sense of humor.  He was well respected and always made sure his family was taken care of.

Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Baird Funeral Home in Troy with  Pastor Jeff Rollison officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
