Ray L. ''Bucky'' Walters. 89, died at Koester Pavilion on Sunday, March 31,2002. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Thelma Walters; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Mary Walters; Gary and Mary Walters and Robert and Brenda Walters; sister, Florence Schaefer; nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, six step grandchildren and fourteen step great grandchildren. Mr Walters was a member of First United Church of Christ, Troy; Dettmer Bowling Team; Troy and Darke County Horseshoe Club. He retired as a machinist, after 28 years of service, from Kimberly Clark. Visitation will be from 1:00 - 2:00 PM Friday, April 5, 2002 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. Services will be at 2:00 PM with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County.
