Ray G. McFarland, age 72, of Troy, passed away on Wednesday, April 03, 2024, at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit. He was born on October 17, 1951, in Troy to the late Luther and Ineze (Messer) McFarland.

Ray is survived by daughter: Nicole (Doug) Hall of Troy; sisters: Debra McFarland, Teresa (Dennis) Tubbs and Robin (Loyd) Alexander; brothers: Carlas (Dona) McFarland and Ronald D. McFarland; grandchildren: Mason and Morgan; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Eloise Ann McFarland and a brother Garrie L. McFarland

Ray was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Troy VFW Post #5436 and The Anthony Wayne Pontiac Car Club. He retired from R.B. Jergens Construction Co.

Services will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Baird Funeral Home with Rev. Nelson Swinehart officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy. The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Tuesday April 9, 2024 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.
