Randy A. Payne, age 40, of Fletcher, OH passed away unexpectedly at his residence on October 3, 2024.  He was born in Webster, TX on September 19, 1984 but spent most of his life in the Troy, OH area.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years: Lelah (Kunkleman) Payne; his mother: Natalie A. Plate (Mark Dickens) of Radnor, OH; children: Rowdy, Joey and Benji; brother: Brandon Plate of Piqua, OH; sister: Amber N. Payne-Miller of Delaware, OH; grandfather: Willard Rea of LaPorte, TX; sister-in-law: Paige (James) Apple of Troy, OH; aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his stepfather: Edwin Plate; father: Randy Lynn Payne; grandmother: Hannah Kennedy and aunt: Harriet Jane King.

Randy was a 2003 graduate of Miami East High School.  He loved watching the kids play their sports.  He spent many years working in the cable industry.  He loved helping friends and family as their own personal "cable guy".

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Riverside Cemetery in Troy with Rev. Jim Christy presiding.  In lieu of flowers a contribution can be made to the Payne Children's Education Fund in care of PNC Bank at 10 S. Dorset Rd., Troy, OH 45373.
