Ralph Edward Pry Ralph Edward Pry, 95, of Troy, Ohio, died July 23, 2007, at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. He was born October 28, 1911, in Pleasant Hill, OH, to the late Robert and Bessie Wilson Pry. His wife of 63 years, Hannah Margaret Hartstein Pry, survives. In addition to his wife, Mr. Pry is survived by his daughter and son-in-law: Sherry and Floyd Shumaker of Sidney, OH; two grandchildren: Jennifer Wagner and Jon Shumaker; and three great-grandchildren: Joshua, Jana and Mary. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Bill, Howard and Forrest Pry and one sister, Virginia Cool. Mr. Pry was a graduate of Newton Schools. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, both of Troy. He retired from the Highway Department of Transportation for the State of Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, July 26, 2007, at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH, with Rev. Al Bastin officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
