Rachel L. Edwards is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Cory R. and Margie Edwards and Jack and Sally Edwards; two sisters, Betty Sturgeon and Mildred Baker; one brother, Cory Sturgeon, Jr.; 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Cory and Mabel Kadel Sturgeon, her husband, Lawrence J. Edwards, 5 siblings; two sons and two daughters.

Burial was in Riverside Cemetery - Troy.  Contributions to American Cancer Society.
