Rachel Brewer, 82, of Troy, Ohio died on Saturday, August 26, 2006 in the Upper Valley Medical Center ER. She was born on September 28, 1923 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Dave and Peggy Stacy Jones. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Seldon Brewer and their six children, daughters & sons-in-law: Betty & Burley Combs of Hazard, KY; Jeannette and Harvey Cromes of Troy, OH; Jewel Murphy of Troy, OH; Bonnie & James Barger of New Carlisle, OH; Glenna & Frank McLemore of Troy, OH; Brenda Brewer of Troy, OH; two sisters, Alice Brewer and Bonita Young, both of Hazard; one grandson; three granddaughters; two great grandsons and four great granddaughters. She was a Homemaker. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at 10:30am at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. Burial will be in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio. Friends may call on the family, Tuesday, August 29, 2006 from 4-8PM at the funeral home.
