Piara Singh Sembhi, age 76, of Troy, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born on May 1, 1948 in India to the late Chanan Singh and Harbans Kaur Sembhi.

Piara is survived by his wife: Darshan Kaur (Bharj) Sembhi; children: Simrit K. Sembhi of Troy and Vikram S. Sembhi of Adelaide, Australia; brother: Gurbax Singh Sembhi of Punjab, India; sister: Manjit K. Wilkhu of Wales; 2 granddaughters: Maya and Mahi. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers: Joginder Singh, Amrik Singh and Mohan Singh Sembhi; sister: Surinder K. Bahra.

Piara had a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering and retired as an electrical engineer and quality manager.  He enjoyed gardening, cooking, the outdoors, mowing and volunteering at Dayton Gurudwara Sahib-Sikh Society of Dayton.
