Phillis B. McKenna, age 70, of Troy, OH passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017 at SpringMeade Healthcare Center, Tipp City.  She was born on October 23, 1946 to the late Ishmael "Skip" Bentley and Juanita (Blevins) Bentley.

Phillis is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years:  David W. McKenna; son: Jason David Collins of Tallahassee, FL; daughter: Cyntha "Cindy" (Mark) Nishwitz of Houston, OH; grandsons: Russ, Brodie and Cooper Nishwitz; sister: Gail Cox of Miamisburg; brother: Marvin Bentley of Tampa, FL; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

Phillis was a 1964 graduate of Troy High School.  She was a lifetime member of the VFW Post No. 5436.  She was employed with Copper Weld in Piqua for over 30 years.  Phillis loved to paint.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 PM on Friday at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.
