Mrs. Penni Jean Caldwell, born on July 2nd, 1960, in Minneapolis, MN, was received to her eternal home on January 21st, 2026. She was surrounded by her beloved family. She was the daughter of George Allen and Emily Jean Rosset who preceded her in death.

Penni is survived by her husband of 48 years: Daniel Caldwell. They were married on July 29th, 1977. She is also survived by her three sons Aaron (Lauren) Caldwell, Mark (Erin) Caldwell, David Caldwell (Aimee LaRiccia) and daughter Anne (Zach Risner), her brother Jim (Sheri) Rosset, sister Sandi (Phil) James, 12 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many loved ones.

She was a faithful member of Troy Baptist Temple (now Troy Baptist Church) for over 40 years. She enjoyed working in the children's and women's ministries there. Penni served and cared for her church family and community by helping so many people over her very active lifetime. She enjoyed her grandchildren and family most, helping others, escaping to the beach or to pick Michigan blueberries, and never said no to a good Kombucha.

The family wishes everyone to remember Penni by the way she cared for them, loved them, and encouraged them. Instead of flowers, donations can be made to The Oasis House of Dayton in Dayton, OH or Clearwater Aquarium in Clearwater, FL.

Funeral will be held at Troy Baptist Church, 691 E. Staunton Rd, Troy, OH 45373 on January 31, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Burial following at Glen Forest Cemetery in Yellow Springs, OH. The family would like to invite everyone back to the church for a time of food and fellowship following the burial.
